AOC Beaumes de Venise
The AOC Muscat de Beaumes de Venise and Beaumes de Venise red wines flourish at the foot and in the foothills of the Massif des Dentelles de Montmirail.
The two AOCs are managed by a defense and management body (ODG) which is in charge of the smooth running and compliance with the specifications of the two wines.
TO DO THIS, SEVERAL ACTIONS ARE IMPLEMENTED:
- The terroir management commission checks in the field that the production conditions listed in the specifications are applied.
- The downstream product checks verify that the wines correspond to the level of the appellation claimed.
THE MAIN MISSIONS OF THE ODG ARE THEREFORE:
- The defense of the AOC Muscat de Beaumes de Venise and Beaumes de Venise red,
Watch over the production and winemaking conditions, - The identification of all the actors of the appellation.
On the other hand, the inter-professional body made up of all the wine growers and merchants is more particularly involved in the promotion of the two Crus Muscat de Beaumes de Venise and Beaumes de Venise red. This translates concretely into numerous operations aimed at promoting the two Crus in France but also abroad.
